The Los Angeles Police Department not only rescues people, they also rescue animals. This year Voice For The Animals Foundation created a calendar featuring LAPD officers with their rescue animals. On the cover is Chief Charlie Beck with his rescue dog, Handsome
Voice For The Animals has worked in partnership with the LAPD for decades. They have assisted in coordinating training for officers and participated in the formation of the Animal Cruelty Task Force. Voice For The Animals Foundation is a non-profit animal rescue organization dedicated to creating respect and empathy for animals through education, rescue, legislation, and advocacy. VFTA runs several programs dedicated to saving animals’ lives and educating the public about the humane treatment of all living creatures.
Thousands of animals are euthanized due to overcrowding every year. Please be a hero, like the LAPD and give a home to one of the wonderful animals from Los Angeles Animals Services. If you already have an animal please spay and neuter. Adopt and save a life.
Each month features an LAPD officer with their adorable rescue animal. Proceeds will go to the medical treatment, food and shelter of abandoned animals in need. Voice For The Animals is a 501(c)(3) non profit tax ID # 95-4754776. Calendar will ship within 7 to 10 days.
